DIY cards with paint chips

Paint chips! They're free (sort of), plentiful and richly coloured. Using some basic craft supplies you can make beautiful cards. This is one I made for my dad's b-day.

Some supplies that come in handy:
  • card stock or heavy paper
  • paint chips (get a bunch when you're pretending to buy paint-get the large sized ones)
  • scissors
  • glue or tape (or use tape runners, they are amazing!!)
  • sparkly bits
  • random pretty paper you like

You can probably figure out what to do next. Just cut some shapes, use colours that go well together. Really, it's up to you what you do. I just hope you'll give paint chips a try.

Pre-made cards and envelopes are a good investment. I used to make them, but for the price and the time just buy them from Michael's.

Happy crafting!
